Green Cafe Network and Cafe Design & Architecture are proud to announce a new and innovative partnership — The Green Cafe Design and Architecture Team.

This partnership brings together the industry leaders in architectural design and sustainability consulting to provide green design solutions for cafes of all sizes across the country.  The initiative grew from a shared understanding that greening the design and construction of cafes is the best way to ensure their long-term sustainability, and from a mutual passion to help local small business owners reach this goal.  

The Team will bring together the combined experience of GCN and CD&A in working hands-on with hundreds of cafe owners, managers, and staff to directly assist up-and-coming cafes in joining the movement toward greening the coffeehouse industry.

The partnership will offer a number of services tailored to the needs of each individual cafe, ranging from interior design and equipment selection to energy analysis and waste management strategies.  A full list of services can be found at greencafenetwork.org.

Through its nonprofit mission, Green Cafe Network addresses two major issues simultaneously – reducing the industry’s ecological footprint and shifting individuals’ consumption patterns. In addition to sustainability consulting and education services, GCN has built a growing network of member cafes across the United States that are committed to running green businesses.

Cafe Design & Architecture, LLC is a full service interior design & architecture firm specializing in the design and planning of custom architectural interiors. Since 2003 Cafe Design & Architecture has focused their efforts on the development of specialty retail food and beverage establishments as well as hotel planning and design.
